Today, we’re highlighting our newest employee Jeremy Snow. Jeremy is the Global Sales Manager for The Fredericks Company and has over 20 years of experience in the vacuum industry with a keen understanding of technology and applications, but there’s more to know about him! Read on to learn more.

What is your role at The Fredericks Company?

I am the Global Sales Manager at The Fredericks Company, responsible globally for sales of our tilt sensor and vacuum gauge product lines.

What are you looking to accomplish this year at The Fredericks Company?

I want to meet as many of our current and future customers as I can, listen to their needs, and then work with our team to develop the solutions they need, both now and in their next generation of equipment. We have a lot of exciting products and technologies in development currently, however, as these products are introduced to the market, we want to work together with our sales partners and customers to ensure that the next generation of vacuum gauges and tilt sensors meet their next-generation needs.

What interested you about this position at The Fredericks Company?

The family environment, the strong and experienced team of people, how the company is focused on long-term goals, the quality of the products in the portfolio, and the challenge associated with growing product sales in quite a number of different market segments.

Who inspires you?

No one particular person, but I appreciate business strategists and philosophers/theologians, and people who live based upon their ideals, regardless of the norm of the culture around them.

What is something (non-work related) you learned recently?

I have been learning to fish… mainly catfish and bass.  It’s a hobby I enjoyed as a kid and then put down for some 30 years or so, only to pick it back up over the last year.  I’m constantly learning how to tie new knots, new types of rigs, and new species of fish. I know this is not the most exciting answer in the world, but it has become a simple life pleasure for me.

Tell us something that might surprise us about you?

I have been to 46 out of the 50 US states and 35 different countries.  While I enjoyed living overseas for a few years, experiencing different cultures, seeing old architecture, and trying new foods, I am proud to say there is no place in the world like the US.

What do you feel is your greatest achievement to date – personal or professional?

Assessing what is truly valuable in life and make decisions based upon this. It doesn’t always happen and I certainly haven’t perfected it yet, but when we make decisions for the right reasons, things tend to fall in line in our lives and we tend to be happier overall.
