Part Number: 2-2100-31
The Televac 2A NASA Mini is a smaller, more robust version of our 2A thermocouple vacuum gauge tube originally designed for NASA. Our 2A NASA Mini thermocouple vacuum gauge tube (also often called a Pirani or vacuum pressure gauge) is widely considered our most robust and contamination resistant low vacuum pressure gauge due to the Pirani filament design and operating temperature, and it’s simple to install because it can be mounted in any orientation.
The 2A NASA Mini is roughly half the size and volume of traditional thermocouple vacuum gauge tubes. This thermocouple vacuum gauge’s primary limitation is that with all of our vacuum controllers, this thermocouple vacuum transducer will only read from 1*10-3 Torr (1 micron) to 20 Torr (20,000 microns), instead of all the way up to atmosphere (760 Torr).
This vacuum gauge also has slightly reduced accuracy over some parts of its operating range when compared to the 4A convection Pirani vacuum gauge. The VacuMini vacuum pressure gauge can be operated by several Televac controllers, including the MX200, MM200, MC300, B2A, Compact 2A, Vacuguard, and MV2A.
Why would you choose the 2A NASA Mini thermocouple vacuum gauge tube? An excellent question. Below is a list of some of the highlights of this vacuum transducer:
