The new Televac® MX7M is an active vacuum gauge (also called an analog vacuum gauge or a digital vacuum gauge) featuring the new Televac® 7M cold cathode ionization gauge, which has a wide operating range of 5*10-11 to 1*10-2 Torr (if you want to convert this to another unit of measurement check out our handy unit converter). This is the only cleanable cold cathode on the market which measures into the 10-11 Torr range. The new triple inverted magnetron design improves the overall accuracy of the vacuum gauge by improving linearity while significantly decreasing the stray magnetic field.
This vacuum gauge has all-metal seals, minimizing outgassing while maintaining a compact overall design. The MX7M cold cathode gauge also has a variety of features including a configurable 0 to 10 V DC analog output, RS-485 communications (EthernetIP optional), two programmable set points (relays and open collectors), and a bright OLED display with a 180° viewing angle.
All features of this cold cathode gauge are accessible through the display and touch controls or through the digital communications. Note that we also have an EthernetIP gateway for this active gauge which enables EthernetIP communication with a Rockwell Automation® Allen-Bradley® PLC. Combining this cold cathode gauge with a rough vacuum gauge such as the MX2A thermocouple active vacuum gauge or MX4A convection active vacuum gauge will provide full range measurement from 5*10-11 Torr to 1000 Torr (slightly above atmosphere).

The MX7M has two set points. Set point 1 is an N-Channel 60 V MOSFET open collector. It has a maximum current rating of 1 A. The datasheet can be found at www.vishay.com/en/product/69958.
Set point 2 is a relay with a maximum switching voltage of 220 V DC (250 V AC) and a maximum switching current of 2 A. The datasheet can be found at www.te.com/catalog/pn/en/1393788-3.
